Physical Education

Students in kindergarten through sixth-grade participate in weekly physical education classes taught by a credentialed teacher. Activities are aligned with the state physical education standards and incorporate character development in them. 

Students in kindergarten through third-grade receive 35 minutes, and fourth- through sixth-grade students receive 50 minutes of supplemental physical education per week beyond the physical education instruction they receive in their classrooms. Students are expected to wear appropriate clothing and footwear on days when they participate in physical education.
