Harding Student Learning ViolinInstrumental Music

All fourth-grade students receive violin instruction once a week for 45 minutes taught by two credentialed music specialists. 

Fifth- and sixth-grade continuing music students receive one, 45 minute lesson per week on their chosen instrument: flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, or violin.

In addition to the school site lesson students have the opportunity to participate in the All-District After-School Band once a week or the All-District After-School Orchestra once a week. 

Bus transportation is provided.  Students participating in instrumental music have the opportunity to perform in various events throughout the year including the Holiday Parade, Honor Band, String Festival, and Big Dog Parade.
