Our 2nd Grade Team

Molly Presser
Dee Carter Brown

After teaching for 13 years at Adams Elementary School, I joined the Harding team in 2009. I am thrilled to be teaching second grade. The school's fresh adoption of IB coincides my own personal desire for new professional beginnings. Very exciting opportunities for students, families, and staff, alike! My husband Rusty and I met at UCSB, and have been married forever, with two young adult daughters, Chloe and Hannah Mae.

The second grade team takes several field trips which relate to the curriculum including one to the Fairview Gardens and the Natural History Museum. The special focus in second grade is performing arts which culminates in a musical production. This year: "The Jungle Book." Check out our class blog here.
